Dr. Siti Zabedah Binti Saidin is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Accountancy, College of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). She obtained her PhD in Accounting from the University of Sheffield,UK, in 2010, MSc. (Management) from UUM in 1996 and Bachelor Degree of Accounting (Hons.) from UUM in 1994. She commenced her duties at UUM as a Tutor in October 1994 and was appointed as a Lecturer in 1996. Since then she has involved as a speaker and facilitator for various workshops relating to accounting, auditing and financial reporting in the context of public sector organizations. Subsequently, she was promoted to a senior lecturer in 2004. Her teaching and research expertise centres on the area of internal auditing, public sector accounting, reporting and governance. She has received grants from MOSTI and MOE for research work in issues relating to internal auditing and public sector accounting. She also involved in writing text books for the public sector accounting course in UUM.
